Every bottle in our range tells a distinct story of soil, season, and spirit. Explore our current releases—from the flinty minerality of our Chardonnays to the bold, dark-fruit complexity of our Syrah.
Named after the druidic spirit of inspiration, Awen is our flagship chardonnay — a wine of genuine complexity. Bright natural acidity meets layered stone fruit and a long, elegant finish. The land at its most expressive.
Full-bodied and richly textured, Rangiwhai is shaped by 11 months in French oak. Citrus and stone fruit sit over a flinty minerality, with a warmth and weight that rewards patient sipping.
Wild flowers and violets on the nose, brooding dark fruit beneath. Sweet dark cherry opens on the palate — powerful and mouth-filling — with gentle oak adding warmth and depth. Long, persistent, and completely unfiltered. Pure vineyard expression.
Fresh, lively, and made for celebration. Aromas of citrus blossom and lemongrass with a clean, lively finish. The perfect aperitif — or an excuse to open something a little different.
Our story begins on the left bank of the Ngaruroro River in western Hawke's Bay — a place where river gravels, a unique micro-climate, and decades of careful stewardship converge. This terroir gives our chardonnays their signature natural acidity and our syrah its depth and structure. Every bottle is a reflection of this valley, captured at the right moment of ripeness.
Whether you're marking a milestone or finding beauty in the everyday, Kokako Farms offers the perfect companion. Our wine growing philosophy is built on balance and restraint - wines with the depth to stand alone, yet the elegance to pair beautifully with the best of what this region produces. More than a drink; an invitation to slow down and savour the craft.
We're driven by a quiet obsession: to grow exceptional chardonnay and syrah from one of New Zealand's most distinctive wine-growing valleys. Every bottle carries the warmth of the land, the integrity of the fruit, and the character of a region we're proud to call home.
Shaped by a commitment to grow fruit of exceptional quality from land we deeply respect.
